PLCopen Korea had an inaugural general assembly at the KOAMI office to found PLCopen Korea Charter effective  March 3, 2015.
In the inaugural assembly, 10  founding members gathered to pass the articles of incorporation and 2015 business plan and 2015 budget etc and also  elected the members of board.
JaeHak Kim, CEO of Higen Motor, was unanimously elected as the Chairman of PLCopen Korea to serve the 2 years term.
PLCopen Korea will take active role to promote the PLCopen program in the Korean industrial market as an open source flat form to develop software for Korean general motion control(GMC) system.
As the first step, PLCopen Korea will translate IEC 61131-3 protocol documents into Korean language and provide technical training to promote international collaboration and to enhance the competitiveness of Korean motion control and machinery industries.
